Ok guys, im new here, this is a pic i took one night shortly after i got my camera, was taken in january, when it was snowing here at Virginia Tech.

Curius to see what you gus think of it i love this picture but im curius to see what other people think of it.

Was shot at night, in the snow, with my 20D and the kit 18-55 on a tripod, dont remember any of the settings though.

Thanks for the comments/advice in advance

Although I like the dark, mysterious sense of the picture, it seems a bit dark. Perhaps open the aperture a bit more.

I like the original better because it looks quite moody.. It kind of scares me and I like that.. LOL

yea im a much bigger fan of the darker one, the lighter one makes it all look soft. also in this case i liked it cus i felt like the less detail is better.

thanks for the replys but please keep them coming, im not afraid of critism at all, infact i want it in this case, cant learn if i dont know what im doing wrong is the way i look at it

Nice shot, good angle. I definitely like the first one better. It does look *very very* slightly tilted though. I'm judging that by the base of the statue, seems to move away from the edge as it goes up. I may be wrong on that though, could just be the architecture of it.
