new site - critiques please (pics included)

I have just this week launched my first .com site and I would love to have you good folks look at it and provide feedback. The site is

Site looks good.

A few little bits.

On the intro on my browser all of you categories do not show up on one line Events is a line below everything else.

When you click on portfolio the gallery categories on the right hand column do not show up over the pictures that they correspond to.

Other than that everything looks really good to me.
