Overdone Noise Reduction = Plastic Skin?

did I go too far on this one? skin seems very plasticy but at 3200ISO, it was really noisy otherwise.

I really can't say about the skin smoothing but I would love to get a lens like that that makes stuff in the background bigger than the foreground!! :lol:

The plastic skin look does not bother me as much as the artifacts in the hair and suit. It almost looks like his hair is painted on. :-)

I think if you got his face to see a little more "expression", it would have made a better image. Maybe you should have yelled out his name first to get him to turn your way...;-)
