Both of these images were taken with the Canon 20D - EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM lens.

Great photos Kenny. Such clarity and beautiful DOF. Well done.
I have the same camera (which I love), but that Macro lens looks like it rocks! Mmmmm...

May I ask how far away were you from the subject?

I was about 8" away from the subject. Here is another one that turned out pretty good:

Those pictures are making my flesh crawl  They must be good, but I can't bring my self to look at them any longer.

I'm sure you're proud of these pics, but you sound very arrogant in thinking that someone would want to steal these reduced resolution pics.
The first one is nice, but the second one's leg is clipped and a bit fuzzy.

Im sorry skifly. I will fix that for you so I dont sound so "arrogant" or proud. I am a contributer on a stock photography website and I have to be sure that my images are protected.

Easy guys.

I am not a fan of these little beasties, but they are not the only things that sting:rolleyes: (see quotes) (Kenny, you may look into watermarking your shots, easy way to copyright mark.)

I like the second shot, good detail and great colour.

Keep up the good work:)

All I can say, is that you are a brave soul. I've been stung by these fellows before - whew, baby! The 100mm Macro is a nice lens - really small dof when you're this close which makes it a tough lens to use, especially if a subject is moving. You did a good job considering that it probably was moving a bit - what was your exif info?

Spoken by a photographer who's never had his photographs stolen... Even a low resolution photograph is printable up to the maximum size allowed by the resolution used. You can't fault Kenny for wanting to protect his work, most photographers would do the same.
