I picked up a pot of Lily's for my wife last weekend (she's on to me and knows I really just wanted it to take pictures of :D) and gave it a few days for the flowers to open up. I took some regular lighted pictures of it but it looked to much like other well lit Lily's, so I didn't post one. Tonight I decided to give it another try as there was a flower opened up that looked good and didn't have all the pollen on the inside walls of the pedals. But this time I decided to try a little different lighting. This was taken in my light tent, but with only one light. My smallest 160 watt second monolight with a snoot on it and a foil that was crimped down to make the hole for the exiting flash even smaller.

One thing I wish I had done was add another small bit of light on the plant stem of the first one so that could be seen. I'm going to watch for that next time.
