Yesterday was the first time I was out shooting in almost 2 months due to medical problems. It was good therapy. Hopefully I will be able to purchase another flash soon (had to sell mine) which is why this is shot in natural light. Poor Egan was having dry skin problems really bad though.

Both of these are terrific. I really like the effect in #2. He's got a great smile!

I like # 1 FAR better than 2. One looks very warm and natural as its natural lighting. On # 2 his face looks way too light.... very washed out. I'd be curious to see the picture without this "action" by K. Smith.

Renee... this is MUCH better! In fact, its even better than the first shot. He looks natural, you can clearly see his smile, and that bland blown out background is now a beautiful blue. I think Kelsy Smith may have been having a bad day when she came up with that method.

Thanks. I was trying to use some PP to take attention away from his horrible dry red skin. I tried cloning and even the makeover tool but could not get it to look right.
Here is a bw version using a KS action

The b&w looks good. I tried an adjustment. Just lowered the red on Hue & Saturation. I haven't as yet tried to add a photo to a message, so I thought this would be a good time to try it.
