Good shot. Main criticism would be that the horizon isn’t horizontal.

I love night photography! And I really like this picture. Can you give any particulars? Where, when, settings used, etc?

As soon as I saw the three tower blocks I knew where it was taken from.

Oh what nice memories I have of CT. I used to be the Catering Manager on Table Mountain (long before they put the new cable cars in).

I can see in the background the hills in Belville.

Ex-parents in law live in Welgemoed.

yeah the 3 towers, or more commonly known as the Three Tampons are a huge eyesore for most mountain-side residents...

Cape Town is still as spectacular as always, though...

You ought to be on display in a museum man!
just kidding :)

Very nice photo. I think ALIENS! I agree with the other poster. If it the horizon was horizontal it would be an improvement.

I'll have to get an old photo of me in the ancient cable car, scan it and post it.

I remember one day we laid a line of lettuce at the top, to one of the cable cars and watched the Dassies eat the lettuce til they were inside, we then closed the doors and gave them a trip down to the bottom - naughty but fun at the time.

I actually met my ex-wife on Table Mountain.

Good luck with the pics.

Sorry it's off topic but I just remembered another story to show you how ancient I am.

My mate and I were at day/night cricket game at Newlands. We were sitting in Castle Corner with a few cans of Castle. Someone started a Mexican Wave on the other side. When it came to Castle Corner I told my mate to throw his beer can up in the air as we raised our hands.

We did and next time around everyone followed suit. There was great pic of all the cans going in the air on the front of The Argus or Cape Times (can't remember which now) the next day.

After that they started selling Castle in plastic cups!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
