Hi Everyone

After spending some time just shooting flowers, buildings and animals, I now moved into people (YES!).

I am still on film - Canon Rebel 2000. This one I used 50mm f/1.8

I'd like some feedback into this one.

Thanks!

Marcos

Marcos,

welcome to the forum :D

I like the pose, but I would like the photo more if the focus was on her eyes.
Still, I have to commend you on your bravery to advance to the next step of photographic prowess.

Best regards,
Andy

*Edit* Doh... Andy beat me to it... oh well :D

It seems a little soft to me, almost as if you have focused on the hair at the top of her forhead, and used a very shallow DOF. Personally I would rather have her eye area in focus. I like capture though.

Maybe it would also work if her ring was rotated around a little and the diamond sharply in focus.

Just my 2 cents. :) Welcome to the forum. Your off to a good start. Keep posting.

Hehe ... so go get a digital SLR.

You'll never have to wait until you get your images back from development for that 'uh-oh ... maybe I'll also try a second shot' ... feeling.

Best regards,
Andy

I forgot to mention. She was not posing. She just start laughing and I tried to get the moment in that very second. That's why the focus was not perfect. :)
