Speaker doesn't seem to work

I just got a G-10 a few days ago. It was making all the normal focusing and shutter release sounds. Last night I notice it stoppped making any sounds. The battery was very low so I thought maybe it turned off the speaker to save energy. I recharged the battery and it still doesn't make any sounds. I went through the menus and the sounds seem to be enabled. I also tried using the voice recorder. It recorded me and I can hear myself when I download the recording to my computer. When I play the recording through the camera I don't hear anything.

Has anyone had this problem? Is there maybe a speaker off setting that I'm not finding? Having no sound isn't a big deal but the camera is only a few days old.

...I just found the mute setting in the Tools menu. Now its noisy again :-)
