I have been contacted by a large company about a picture I took. They want me to sell it to them. I was just wonderign what a good price for it would be. I dont want to ask too much, but don want to get ripped off.
Thanks,
Mike

Not an easy question. The answer depends on exactly how big they are, how good your reputation is, how easily they could get a similar photo elsewhere, how they want it (printed, framed, CD), and what kind of rights they are buying from you (full use, resale, modification and such).
It also depends on how much you'd like. You could charge as little as $150 to close to $1000 depending on the above. $150 for a nice framed print, or digital copy with limited use rights. $1000 for unlimited use of a truly unique image that will never be possible again.
