Crumpler's Dark Brown color - help!

Hi guys,

I have a 6MDH, and it's awesome. I love the look and feel of Crumplers. I'm thinking of getting a 7MDH, especially now that the older models are going on sale.

My question is: what color is the Dark Brown? I'm looking at all these photos from retailers and from users, and many of them seem like green to me. Most of the pictures I've seen look like this

And then once in a while I see one that looks like this (which is want I want, not the green!):

They're all supposed to be dark brown. So to the people who have the Dark Brown Crumplers, do retailers just have some bad photos? Or might there be different versions of this color?

This one seems to straddle the line between brown and green. Some of the photos make it look puke green, and I don't want that! :???:

the color you are interested in is actually not dark brown but "oatmeal"...

actually, the bag s/he is interested in IS dark brown...the color scheme is dark brown/oatmeal/olive...the dark brown is most of the exterior, with oatmeal sides and olive interior...i have this exact bag...

and for the OP - the colors on amazon are off...they're closer to the flickr colors, although i think the image you linked to is darker than the bag actually is in person...

Actually, I think there's huge confusion between the two Crumpler bags. The one posted on Amazon is the newer model of the Cumpler million dollar home bags. The one on Flickr is the old model. If you look at the one on Amazon, you will notice that there are now two clips vs. one. Also, there are two new silencer flaps, which can be used to cover the velcro strips to make the bag quieter. The bags are also a little slimmer too.

At the time of the original post, the Amazon link had both the older and newer models. It seems that they have cleared out the old models, so that same link only contains photos/info of the newer ones.
