For the 1st time I shot some pics in RAW, to see what all the fuss is about :) Anyway, iphoto imports all the jpgs but not the RAWs. I opened Canon's Digital Photo Pro to try and import. I use EOS capture, and I get the message "Destination is not set properly, reset the destination" then the folder browser opens, but I don't see the camera. I am coming from window also, so I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. Thanks for any input/ ideas.

Mine imports both. There should be duplicate images next to each other. The first image is the RAW. Not the best way to ID the images.

I'm guessing this is on a Mac with OS X and your connection is straight to the camera's USB port. You can do it with finder, but you might do better using a card reader and opening that disk using finder. Copy the RAW files to a folder on your hard drive (faster to work with them anyways) and delete them from the card reader. Then use iPhoto to import the JPGs. You might want to think about setting up a way to organize your RAW files separately from iPhoto.

Also, I've heard that iPhoto v5 supports RAW, but haven't been into my local apple store yet to check it out.
