Just received the E-1 wrist strap. All I can say is WOW! It's really useful. I'll never take it off. Go to Amazon and search for the strap to see the installation instructions. The E-1 doesn't come with it. You'd think for the money they could spend a nickel and include a copy of the instructions.

I never got instructions with my wrist strap either. I just bought a wrist strap from Opteka for my 40D. I haven't installed it yet, but it looks comfy. I am going to look up the A-1 though too.

The instructions for the E-1 strap are included with the Canon battery grip.
