Am looking to take my 400D out on the ski slopes and want to get a Peli case to protect it but I want the smallest case possible. Will it fit in the 1150 or would I need to go for the 1200 instead?
Thanks

Lens? I suspect that you'll find skiing with a Pelican to be more than a little awkward; check out Ben Jacobsen's (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/member.php?u=48882) posts - he skis a lot with his camera and has posted frequently on it. IIRC he's used Dakine a good deal.
Edit: Sorry - didn't see you'd listed it in the title. Those of us who go "Previous Thread" often don't pay attention to the titles. Looking at the numbers, I'd say the 1150 will be too small. It quotes 3.68" depth and the XTi is 3.71" high.

I have a Dakine Heli Pro bag so just want a solid case for protection but hence why I want it as small as possible so it fits in the rucksack. Only intend to take it out once or twice on a more relaxed day but don't want to fall and crush it by accident.

The Pelican 1200 can fit a gripped XSi + 18-55IS and, IIRC the Nifty Fifty too!
PS: I too have a Dakine Heli Pack and I am going to buy either one 1150 and one 1200 or two 1200s. (For the tele and UWA).
