Thanks for the encouraging comments.

Blockhouse Bay library carpark. Nothing exotic like Kitt Peak or something. It was the first place I found that didn't have powerlines running through it.

Yeah, right. :) Between the clouds, it's very clear.

Nice shots ! I take it you took this around 7:00am in the west ? According to my Cartes Du Ceil program it should be Moon , Mars , Jupiter then Mercury . Correct ? I also noticed all the EXIF is missing ???

They are taken in the East, in the morning in the Southern Hemisphere. 0609 for the first one and 0611 for the second (NZDST = UTC+13). I checked the order with CdC too.

Sorry about the EXIF. They're straight out of the camera and resized with Irfanview which chops off the EXIF. Was there something in particular you wanted to see ?

Ok , i switched CDC to a southern location from my latitude and it shows all correct according to your image . Nice shot ! I just wanted to see what your settings were in the EXIF .

Did you get it a day out ? Many people/programs do.
We're ahead of UTC by 13 hours. It's 2:10pm Tuesday afternoon as I write this. I took the photo yesterday (Monday) morning.

No... , first time i didn't realize you were southern hemisphere . When i switched CDC to South then it lined up correctly . Thats why i was checking your EXIF is to see exactly when you took it .
