I brought one of these old lenses from a chap at work who was selling some ond equipment he no longer used. For £80 I received a Canon 75-300 zoom which is the main reason i made the purchace, and a 28-70 zoom.
It has turned out that the star of the two is the latter, with sharp images at almost all conditions and a very fast focus system (if not USM).
If you want a cheap lens in this range i would not hesitate to recomend it.
