Thanks for the kind comments.
I have a feeling this puppy is going to be very spoiled!
Luckily she likes the camera (she's tried to lick the lens already), so I should have many awesome pics to come!

Random question for everyone:
Do these photos look properly exposed to you? They look fine on my monitor at home, but here at work they look a little dark.
I always use levels and curves, so the exposure should be just about spot on, but I'm just wondering what other people see.
Thanks!

Not fair! You could take puppy photos with a crappy camera phone and they would come out "cute". :)

Only thing I see in the second is the WB may be off..then again there are alot of yellows around..
Exposure looks great to me.

You've got a good eye! The white balance is off, but it's on purpose. I know some people may say that's a photo sin, but it created more warmth in the picture and that's the look I was going for.
I'm back home now and the pics look much better. You'd think since I'm a graphic designer I'd have calibrated monitors at work :D.

I did a rudimentary auto adjustment and it did get lightened a bit for a slight improvement, but the color balance stayed about the same. cute dog though.

Yeah, unfortunately I don't live with the puppy. I spent the entire weekend with it, and I miss it already!
