Cool! Except for the fact that the tires are floating in the air, it's an interesting idea for a composite. I'd rather see the car at an angle to fill up some of the empty space at the left?

YOu think they look floaty? Must be my monitor. Darn. As for the angle... nice suggestion but that's where I parked the thing :)

quality on my monitor is really bad. It seems out of focus really bad.

Thanks Scott, but I just calibrated my monitors and the thing's sharp where I want it sharp. Whew.:)

YOu think they look floaty? Must be my monitor Be aware that what you're seeing here is probably not what some of the rest of us are seeing? Take a look at:
Firefox (3.0.4) + add ons (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=602787)
If you're not using color management, you will see a darker, more contrasty image.
...but that's where I parked the thing And that's why I wrote this: MOVE YOUR FEET! A <rant> of sorts. (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=536323) :D

Um no... I'd rather decide where to park it. Got a scheme for you... go find your own car, stadium and babe... then take the car and shove it... um... wherever YOU like :)
Seriously (sort of) thanks for the opinion on composition PG. Opinions are always interesting, they tell me that my art resonates. Resonate is a good thing, eh?

Composition Articles library (http://photoinf.com/) Seriously (sort of) If the image makes you happy, then that's fine with me. But... Resonate is a good thing, eh? That word has a lot on connotations! :D

From a professional compositor, I'd unfortunately have to agree with the rest of the people commenting on here. There are no contact shadows (hence the front tires looking as if they're floating) and the angle of the car itself makes it look like the back wheels are off the ground.
I can see that you've put a lot of effort into this, and it's definitely getting there, but one thing you should really remember is that the comments that people are leaving aren't to put you down, but to help you get a fantastic composite. One thing you must have, as any type of artist, is an ability to take critiques.
One of the most important things back in art school revolved around a saying,"Don't be afraid to kill your babies" referring to getting so close to a project that you don't want to take critiques that may cause you to change your vision completely.
Ultimate we see what you're trying to do, and we're only trying to help you get there by tweaking details here and there. No need to lash out. We're all on the same team.
