Snow Dog

My dog, Addie, after digging around the snow with her nose. Addie is a Beagle/Australian Shepard mix.

SUPERDIVER - If only I was a little quicker. Before I grabbed my camera, Addie had about an inch of snow piled up on her nose. That would have been great! As it turned out, though... still got a laugh out of me.

yeah, life's like that, welcome to my world...lol, but think of it this way, the snow would have stood out as it probably wold have been out of focus...lol

I like the focal point being on his eyes...

SUPERDIVER - I was just a BIT off on the focus. The focus is just a fraction of an inch before the eye. It WAS on the eye, but she's such a hyper dog that she moved just as I had the focus! lol Again, though, that's the name of the game! :) I had the aperture set to f/1.8 for a super narrow DOF. I should maybe close it up, a bit, next time... Especially if my target is a hyperactive Beagle mix! :)

I love watching a dog playing in the snow. Our Beagle experienced her first significant snowfall this year (we got 9" overnight), and had a blast. I was only able to snap a couple of pics because my battery was fading fast.
