* stands up. Hello, My name is Joe, and I am addicted to photography.

I took some classes in High School and hadnt touched a camera in about 5 years. After designing a website for my wedding photographer I realized I missed it. After asking a friend of mine who shoots weddings in GA, I bought my Xti in June 08.

I was just wondering how many other Ohioans are around?

Where do you guys like to shoot?

How many of you are professional?

I'm down in Cincinnati area and a definite hack. :D
But I have a damn good time. And it helps to relieve my work stress.

If you're in SW Ohio there's a few people headed to the Air Force Museum on Saturday.

Now that is one part of the state I've not been in!!!
Grew up in Cleveland suburbs, live in Cincinnati and have spent a reasonable amount of time in every part of the state BUT Youngstown!!!

I was hoping you were down south here. The more shooters, the better.

South-East Ohio. So close to West Virginia, I can see it from my front door. I've been to Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, Columbus, and everywhere in between. Heck...I've even been sued by a quack doctor in Warren! Will travel for Photos!!

Hi from Wadsworth, Ohio. I'm still pretty new at DSLR too. Learning on my local HS basketball team and shooting at birds out the window. It's a lot of fun ... even for an old guy!

Welcome!

Hey over in the Cincy PONT thread (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=598880) we are discussing taking a trip to the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway in June. Post 190 (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showpost.php?p=7396535&postcount=190) has some of the initial info. We where thinking we could get some of the Columbus and southeastern Ohio POTNer's to join us.

I'm in NE Ohio abt 25 mins south of Youngstown.

I'm in Chardon...(family is all in Ashtabula county) probably fairly close to you?
My husband and I are always interested in shooting....

Also, if you are looking for some outings have you checked out The Cleveland Photographic Society? They are a lot of fun: www.clevelandphoto.org
