Wide pans are excellent. #4 is best of the series but it needs little tilt to get the road leveled

Great shots. Love #4 and if #6 was any sharper I could lose an eye. Well done.

Nice shots, i love number 8, i was hoping to go up and shoot, but couldnt afford the time off work, would rather shoot the 12 hour than the Bathurst 1000 i think.
Any Major incidences during the weekend? Bathurst usually throws a few out there each race meeting...

...bit harsh there - as the road could very well be part of the downhill section of the track.

Nice series, I really like the panning and that you include parts of the track.

pretty sure that's just after the cutting, (Reid Park I think) which is a very steep uphill run. Bit of research shows a 1:6 grade out of the cutting
Personally, I like the shot how it is.
It's not much coming from someone with my skills, but they all are really nice shots.
Did you get any as they crest the left hander over the top (sulman I think? )
There's a spot you can watch where the cars are above you dropping into another left hander in front of you. I'd love to see some from that point of the track with the quality of your other shots here for sure!
It's an eerie view from there, you can see the horizon under the car at the right spot as they crest, and in the V8s the inside front is off the ground.
i have a nicely composed, but fairly ordinary 35mm shot of one of the holden drivers around 98 or so from that spot.
For those that have never been to Bathurst, it's an amazing track to be at, and never fails to surprise. I remember one year sunny down the bottom, hail on the top of the track....or was that visa versa?

I think you are referring to 'the dipper'. But yes I agree: it is a track that anyone who even has a remote interest in racing should visit at least once. Incredible elevation change from bottom to top.
One of the worlds great race tracks.

Not the dipper, although that's another spot where they come down from above. It's two corners before they go around mcphillamy.
Actually even forest elbow is another one where the cars are above your eyeline as they come into it.
