My hubby and I were back on the golf course late Sunday afternnon. Since there were no people behind us, we stopped to look for photo opportunities. The Green Heron and the Dove were most cooperative.

For golf course wildlife, we expected a birdie and an eagle.

Ain't nothing wrong with a pair of birdies:confused: It's the boogie monster you need to watch

TammieO, I'm just jelous you are on the golf course:lol: I still have to play indoors here, if I have time.

Very nice captures, the Heron reflection is great.

Do you get auto focus with the lens, body combo Tammie? Also how have you liked the extender?

I still have auto focus (good thing since I don't wear my reading glasses all the time). I love the extender. Of course a long prime would be good, but out of my price range right now.

Do you shoot in Raw or Jpeg? You stuff is always so nice, I am working on trying to take and or make better photographs . . . I guess that is why we all come here.

Kind regards.

I've only started shooting in raw recently (had to upgrade the computer). I'm really liking the results. I took these in raw and jpeg. The jpeg had a green cast (used auto white balance) that was easy to get rid of in the raw file.

Great shots Tammie. That first one makes you do a double take. Nicely done.
