Boy, it's hard to control the dynamics of a street scene like this. The exposure and focus look OK. I would have tried to get a better angle on the shot, moving to the left. That would give you a better profile of the woman, and would move that tree away from the little girl's head. Maybe it's just me, but I hate looking at one of my photos and discovering something like that growing out of the top of my subject's head. You should also consider getting a lower camera angle, especially when a child is the subject. I really feel that I'm looking down at the scene. I would also go for a tighter crop, eliminating the child with her fingers in her mouth.
