I was having a terrible time getting this image right in PS. Out of frustration I tried to destroy it with levels.....and ended up liking it that way. I'm just curious if I'm weird (lots of folks think so already) or if there might be some artistic merit to this style? The photo was taken a mile or so from home at a public park/lake in Camas, WA. Original specs: Shutter 1/100, f6.3, ISO 200, 55mm.

It has an interesting look. The composition is very nice. For some reason, it kind of reminds me of a sympathy card. I'm sure after a good nights sleep, you can make the orginal look stunning too. It really looks like it's screaming to burst out in color and contrast, but there is nothing wrong with your PS accident. . . lol.
