Hey guys,

A woman from work wants me to shoot her family along with her son who will be leaving to boot camp next month and wants shots taken. She has seen some of my work and is interested in hiring me. Does anyone have any good links on group posing? I was thinking of trying a Toogy style portrait with them. Just give me ideas. I have no lighting so I might just bring a reflector if possible, but chances are that these will be all natural light and no reflector, but I will see.

Thanks for the help!!

No lights for a group shot is probably not a good idea, unless you know exactly what the lighting is going to be. Just google family portraits and take a look a some other photographers sites. I've done that in the past with good luck. It's just takes a little persistence to find what you are looking for.
Trying to get even lighting on a group with a reflector seems kind of risky.

Just my 2 pennies of thought.

Thanks for your input! I see what you mean, but this just through me off guard. If I knew about this a few months in advance than that would be a different story, but I just have a month to get ready for this so that doesn't leave me enough time to prepare.

Thanks again!
