Hello All,
The last few weeks we had several polls about lenses, about witch zone and so on.
I wonder what the most used metering mode is used on a 20 D and way?
Thanks for any comment.

Whatever suits the situatuion for me.
I leave it in evaluative as default so it probably counds as most used

I shoot in spot metering...that way I know where the camera is getting it's reading.

I leave it in evaluative practially all the time. I've never been disappointed.

For most situations evaluative works just fine for me.

Do you mean partial metering? The 20D doesn't have true spot metering AFAIK.

Normally centerweighted for me outdoors, partial if highly backlit. Indoors (non studio) I use evaluative 90%. In studio use flash meter.:)

I almost always use the partial metering unless I'm using a handheld meter.
