People apparently like to take shots of guitars, so i'll jump on the bandwagon. this is a shot of my old ibanez. i've had it for about 10 years.

Well the angle isnt anything exciting but its a nice photo. :)
Would be nice to see some more obscure angles.

I think having some light on the side of the guitar would help, as well. Guitars can be pretty stubborn subjects sometimes...

It's not romantic enough... A bit clinical looking... Try adding some roses!

thanks. "not interesting" seems to be the common consensus. By this, do you guys mean the composition, the lighting, angle, or a combination of all of these? i was trying to go for a minimalist look, and having only the front visible was kind of on purpose. here's another shot i did. let me know how this fares. i'll try different shots as soon as i get my camera back from getting serviced.

I like this shot. You've focused in on one specidifc area of the guitar with a good DOF. Makes it pleasing to look at.

I honestly like the first one more. I think it's unique. Maybe a little boring, but it's interesting in the sense that the guitar kind of looks 2D. As if it's a poster of a guitar in a dark room or something. The guitar almost appears as though it's floating. Unique in my opinion. Definately caught my eye.
