Believe me you don't want to question the duck. Just go with it, shoot your ducks, pay your dues .

Nono, there is a reason for the ducks in particular on POTN. Search for IanD + duck ;).

And you can ask Permagrin what the punishment is for questioning the duck .

I've been summoned to tell you that if you question the ducks, you could end up in a dark and foreign land where the natives are restless and you may be lunch...:lol::lol:

Just say yes to the duck.

(did I mention that you'll have an eternity of tormentors reminding you of your trespasses?)

Ducks exist. Ducks absorb and reflect visible radiation. Therefore they must be photographed.

And we don't discriminate ducks... it can be the yellow plastic kind, the Peking type, and even your four-legged furry duck that says bow-wow!

It's just the way it is with photographers. It all really started with bird watching. So, it just continued. Now when someone gets a new camera or lens, it's time for ducks! I've done my share of duck shots. :)

Where I'm from, all the ducks come in with a boring white featherwork! I love those colorful North American ducks!

Remember that ducks are devious creatures and often assume disguises. Here's one of their known disguises:
