I don't think I have enough talent to tackle the last, but here is a stab at #3

Nice portraits :D I went ahead and took a stab at that last one. It has a really nice artsy feel to it already, but I tried to emphasize the horse peaking through the boards a bit more. Hopefully it will look ok with the small file.
