What is the maximum capacity CF cards that can be used with the with Canon 50D, while shooting in RAW mode. I would prefer Sandisk CF cards. Darryl

Actually, no it won't answer that particular question. It'll only tell you what cards Rob actually used in a 50D. The 50D should accept any CF card currently manufactured. It's possible that Canon made the same mistake they did in earlier models and didn't design the in-camera format routine to handle very large cards, but even in that case if you format the card in your computer it should still work. Performance of these cards, both in camera and in a card reader, will vary though and that's what Rob tested.

I'm using Transcend 133X 32GB cards with no problems.
