I was commenting on someone else's "TF got me" thread. Angry Corgi liked a line I used and suggested it as a title. Just a peon (amongst the titled).


I commented that as someone who doesn't spend a lot of time on here, that the TF had plenty of other targets, as Keyboard in Mouth desease was pretty rampant here.

So now, I guess I will have to work at living up to my title!!:confused:

Sheesh. In response to this goading, I went and looked at the 6.5FPS thread, which seems to have bubbled up from some unfinished meal during my last dormancy. I thought I'd glance at it to see what it was about, but I decided my T1 connection here at the office wasn't fast enough to download all 14.3 gigabytes of it. I have no idea what it all means. Something to do with Nikon sucking, I expect.

So, if that's where the title fairy hangs out, then it must have been the dinging, because until just now I've been (blissfully) ignorant of the 6.5 FPS thread.

Sooo, when our friend LightRules got his new 40D way back when, he rushed out to shoot without reading the manual, couldn't get the advertised 6.5 fps, and, again without reading the manual, came to POTN asking why.

The ensuing crackup, well, has become a bit of a legend here, and there are at least a couple of hundred POTN members who have contributed to keeping the legend alive...
