I got lucky on the way to work this morning I saw a couple of deer in a field and had to pull over . The first pic is with full optical zoom of my Canon S1 IS, with tele lens attachment giving me 16X optical, the second was alot further away so I had to switch to digital zoom 32X, I hated to do that but was quite surprised that it wasn't as grainy as i had feared comment if you like tips help too thanxhttp://img49.exs.cx/img49/7600/img14768dg.jpghttp://img49.exs.cx/img49/691/img14932xs.jpg

Another reminder to always have the camera with you! Good job! Like you said it's not too bad for digital zoom, but it's still digital zoom :) .

Great pics! You must be stealhy.

You might want to try a little post processing to take out the slight bluish tinge. It will make the colors pop a bit more. (I almost bought the S1 IS, and might have done so if I'd known how easy the color fix is.)
