Hey there,
I'm having trouble setting up the Sunpak P30X off-camera with the 350D...
Since I opted for the sync cable route, I had to purchase hotshoe-cable-hotshoe PC adapters. It should be very straight foward, but it didn't work.
Now, I guess it didn't work because the P30X has no manual function and only works as automatic E-TTLII. So, as the sync cable removes the TTL function to the flash unit, the P30X doesn't receive a signal to fire.
I'm more likely to be wrong :( but I'd really like to start with off-camera flash. Maybe the e-bay triggers can fix the problem?
