This is from a night or so ago. Still working on the processing aspect of all this. :) This one seemed a bit trickier than others...

I see alot of detail but you need to tone the red down . What was your equipment setup ?

Yea, it seems to be one of my problems as how to put a specific color in a particular place without washing the entire shot with that color. Some targets, like M42 seem easier to process as far as that is concerned. This was shot RAW, ISO 800, thru an f/4.9 reflector. About 12- 6 min. subs with 4 darks.Stacked in DSS and processed in CS2.

Horsey is always a tough target due to the proximity of Zeta Orionis. Try some of the other background calibration methods in DSS and remember the golden rule of never clipping the highlights or shadows when you then process in CS.
