I bought powershot S45, becouse i read a lot of great things about this photocam.

But at the begining i have problems...

1) When i connect it to usb, i get window that gives me a choice which program to use for capturing photos, but window is EMPTY. ????
I installed cd with all programs, but neither was in window to chose. and where were other programs like acdsee, MS imaging,...???

2)when i try to aquire from any program, i get abnormal error, and than program crushes

I tried everything on 2 computers, and it is the same thing...

And where are WIA drivers for win2000????

i hate Canon so much, becouse those people can't make drivers.

STATEMENT: Canon haven't done one good driver jet.(all products)

OS: Win2000 SP3, USB 1.1, mb BXMaster

Just thought it might be useful for people if they are browsing this thread (and havn't clicked on the link above) that this isn't a Canon problem, but a Windows 2000 SP3 problem. (Dear old Microsoft strike again!)

Glad you are all sorted now!
