This was the first day it was nice enough to take pics since I got my new camera. I did a soft focus edit on this picture and adjusted the color a little but not much.
I am still getting use to my Digital Rebel. havent figured it all out but I liked the way this one turned out.

Nice colour and compostition. I'm not sure if I like the soft focus or not.

I used photoshop, just increased saturation level by about 5-10%.. from memory.

Bytheway heres my attempt at crisping it up... STILL LIKE THE SOFTER LOOK Though

I personally like the soft focus too I did that on perpous. I do a lot of photo manipulations on my computer and I think the soft focus gives some pictures depth. but thats just my opinion.

I think the soft focus with the saturation up looks great.

I think the photo looks great with the soft focus. I am a little curious in what program you use to apply the soft focus. I have CS but can not find the filter. HELP!

I actually used Paint Shop Pro 8 I think you can download a free trial of PSP9 and it has that same filter. I like it for some things I do some web, message board, Signature and avatar work in that program too there are COUNTLESS royalty free images available for Paint shop Pro they are called Tubes or Picture tubes.
