Often when I'm looking at photos posted in the Sharing forum, I wish I could see these shots even larger than the generous sizes allowed in posts.
I'd bet that many or most digi-photogs here have larger screens and likely save printable sized or hires versions of their best captures. And I wonder how many of you with online galleries provide/allow the display of full-screen images to your web visitors?
If you do, and post a link... I'd like to see! :)

Hey Kenn - with my shots those that I share on the web here or a couple of the other places I visit are sized to the maximum allowed image size for those sites. That is why in my zenfolio (link below) there are varying sizes. The older images maybe 800 pixels on the long side to more current ones at 1024.
While zen allows me to store the full size image and I use it to do so for some offsite backup, the visitor view is limited to images up to 1100 pixels in width. If I could display a larger image on the site I would, I can allow a full size download of the shots but I m not going to do that.
I'm not interested in selling my wildlife/bird shots, did that for a while through stock but it got to feel to much like work. So for me the zenfolio is not to sell images but just to share my images and as I don't want to give them away either viewers are limited to 1100 pixel maximum.
But if you ever make by the house I am happy to let you browse through the prints, almost every shot I share on the web has been printed at least to 8x10 to check quality prior to posting it.
