How about NICKNAMES you've picked up over the years.

There's a catch - You have to tell the story about how you got it.

At age 19, mine was Hollywood.

I had the big Ray Ban glasses (and good looks) of movie stars of the day.

I do not think that there is anything to fear.

The TF seems to have visited recently. Like a comet, TF may not re-appear for days, weeks..........

Besides, you're 50/50 anyway -- TF could see your post, then title you "Title Chicken" and be done with it.

Better that you blunder into it.......

I was Hans, nickname given to me very randomly by my brother when I was about 7. No idea why (even he doesn't know why) and it caught on and now a lot of people still call me Hans to this day.

My husband calls me Boobies. I don't think I really need to explain that one.

I have nothing to fear from the title fairy.

Mine is Jacques Strappe. I used that nickname at work for 35 years. When I signed up with POTN the mods wouldn't let me use that name. Go figure.

The story:

Many years ago, shortly after the invention of the telephone, I worked in the Program Room and the TV Operating Center of Pacific Telephone. It was the San Francisco control center for the radio and TV networks. We used "order wires", pick-it-up-and-shout telephones to other control centers nationwide, on which we identified ourselves by our initials, using phonetics.

Now, what phonetics would YOU use: "Juliet Sierra" or "Jock Strap"?

I thought so.

Attempting to show some class, I spell it in the French fashion.
