I took these last weekend at a Summer Camp in Wisconsin. Please let me know what you think. I am trying to improve, so I would really appreciate critique. Thanks.

#1 - Landscapes are usually better in Landscape format - this is no exception.
#'s 2, 3, and 4.
Ask yourself, "are these worthing of being printed in 11x14 and hung prominently on the walls of your home?" Generally speaking, something else has to happen to grab your attention.
I would say that these are examples that show that technical skills are developing, but composition and interest are where you need some guidance from appropriate textbooks or a mentor.

Thank you for your feed back. I have been really trying to focus on both composition and technique. Unfortunatley I have been having trouble focusing on both at the same time.

I have never once heard of the "no exception" rule of landscapes being in landscape format....

I didn't say that there are no exceptions. Please read my post again.
