still learning.....a walk on the beach

I like the first one from a composition point of view. It makes me think he's just walked all the way from the top right of the photo! Colours are nice too.

Grainy? Not enough to spoil them. I like the rich colours and the expression on the lads face :)
He looks very "at ease" as if there isnt really a camera there.
As Andy said, the composition on the first is excellent.

Camera model and settings please :D
Also, what post processing was done - if any?

A young boy, a stick, and a body of water....what more could a kid ask for? That's why he looks like he's having fun, he is! Nice pictures. I like number one also. As to the graininess, I'm not sure I see a lot. The beach looks like course sand which may be why they look grainy. And the pictures look to have been compressed quite a bit - they are small compared to most posts.

I like them too ... the first one is really nice. The crop (or composition) is a little tight on the second one, but the colors are wonderful.
