Trying out the 430EX

Starting to fool around with flash (on camera 430EX), here is one of my first attempts. Picture was shot at ISO 800, SS/1/100 at F/8.0. Comments are welcome.

Looks nicely exposed to me. You might have tried a smaller f/stop to blur the background more..actually the background came out fine everywhere except on the right...photoshop it out and you'll really have a nice pic.
