What are you using to save them? How large do you intend on making the image.

www.pbase.com $23 a year...vrey worth it.

First you need an image editing program like Picasa2 (which is free and kinda cool, but nothing compared to Photoshop). Click to get it here. (http://www.picasa.com/download/index.php)

Once downloaded and installed Go up to Tools => Options => E-mail and you can adjust your output to 800pixels. Then just Export the picture(s) of your choice and you should have a good size pic for 'attaching'

This is just a quick "free" option!!

Hey Timmy, I'm glad you brought that up....does pbase have an upload limit or a max limit to what you can load there?

I know that Smugmug (http://www.smugmug.com/price/) is $29 a year, but it's unlimited space plus I love the interface and customization ability there. But I see most people in this forum use pbase, so I thought there might be something better to it?!?!

There is a limit, i dont know it off hand, i do know it's quiet a bit. You can buy more for fairly cheap though.

I dont know anything about smugmug, but pbase is more then just photo storage. It's a great little community and a fantastic place to get great feedback on photos.

You wouldnt think a thing like customer service would come up much in this type of buisness, but pbase gave me 2 free months because for 2 months they were upgrading some stuff and at times pbase was running slow, you cant knock that with a stick.

Pbase is 200MB per credit. 12 credits = $ 23. Essently 12 Credits last a year at 200MB per month.

You could also use imageshack.us - free :D Obviously nowhere near as powerful as the others.

I use Photo Shop to size the pics. I set pic at 72dpi, choose the size I want, e.g. 8x10 and then when I click save as.

PS then allows you to adjust the size of the file to keep it under 100k which you can upload here directly.

This pic is under 90K. I hope this helps.

Pushtoexit.
Have i misread the info at PBase regards pricing,
the only info I can find states
"US$23 yearly for 200 Megabytes of photo storage.
or
US$60 yearly for 600 Megabytes of photo storage.

Additional Storage
Additional storage can be added at any time in increments of 200MB".

I think the service from PBase is just excellent for the money, & gives a whole new way of showcasing our work.
