Night Shots & Red Cast

Been trying my hand as a newbie on some night photography. I get a reddish cast when I use longer exposure. Is this because the white balance is wrong or do I need to re-adjust something else. Any help would be deeply appreciated.
Using a XTI with 18-55, 28-135, and also tried the tamron 70-300. I must have some settings somewhere set wrong.

That is what I am going to try next. I will give it a try on the camera and in Camera Raw.
Boy night photography can be tricky.
