B&W - CC wanted - Bridge

I was wondering if these are good in B&W? Also, in on of my monitors they are ok in another one they are a little to dark .. How they look on yours?

Lastly overall C&C is appreciated to the composition to the B&W conversion .. thanks guys ..

Since it is a BW, I think

Picture No.1) Lacks deatil in the black areas ie the left of the handrail and below the roof.

Picture No.2) I like the perspective but the dark corners bother me :)

Agree with ddave on the first...on the second maybe crop out part of the left to where the bridge really starts to turn just to put more focus on the building part of the bridge, and as said above work on the dark corners.
