I think the second one more, the first one was taken from a bit too low of an angle IMO.

Only thing I would suggest is a more interesting background...

so that what that is. I almost thought it looked like a chicken wing with a face, I was like WT_.
blue paper would make a nice easy background to pull that critter from. All kinds of photoshop engineering come to mind for that one.
