Went out to try my new rig today, and since I am no good at editing them out yet, I figured I would leave them in for now. I also broke the strobes out per the client's request. C&C please.
TIA!

Thanks Justin. I won't be tackling that for a while, I have a busy week ahead of me, but since there is 12" of snow on my doorstep, maybe I'll stay in today.

I didn't really pay that much attention to the ceiling, or if it was going to be easy to clone, but I sure will next time. This was my first stab at this, so next time they will be even better!
whats the diameter of your pole?
it is 1.5" aluminum rigid conduit, measuring 1 7/8" OD

yeah, it will not be fun cloning that rig out. if you want a smoother background, shoot with a longer shutter speed.

How long would you have the shutter speed be? It was set at 2 seconds for most of the shots, and it probably wouldn't make much difference if it was longer, as were are driving parallel to the ribs in the ceiling. Next time we will go perpendicular to them, like in the turning shot.

Great shots, thanks for sharing the un-edited version, it is helpful to see the rig shots.

Edit courtesy of someone in my Mustang Club. He missed a little bit in the body, but better than I did when I tried.

Nice shots the rig shots came out very sharp. You got to try editing it though! You won't get better if you don't! Nice work.

I know, it's just dedicating the time to do it, without the wife b^&%*ing, while running an electrical contracting business. I know very little about PS, the commands, techniques, or whatever. I tried to do some today, with little success. I got one to look pretty good, but then couldn't figure out how to get it to a jpeg. I gave up and plowed the driveway.

what did you use to light up the car in the non rig shots?
StreamlineGT

Three strobes on the 3/4 shot, two on the grill shot, and two on the front shot.

We actually drove the car this time. Next time we will push it, due to some of the shots being shaky. I used a 2 sec. exposure.
nice car!! how do you like it?
I like it, but I only drove in it for a few trips down to the van to get equipment, as my van wouldn't go in the garage. It's bone stock, so it's quiet, yet quick. It's fully loaded, just not mine.

We gotta find you a new location (or lower your work van!). I'll be on the lookout this week and keep you posted.

the shots look good and the front of the car but i think they killed that car

a lot of great colour from the car, but also a lot of downsides. like the flares on the headlight, which blunts out the details and without cloning off the rig.... got to learn that, unless you dont mind showing everyone shots with rig all the time...
