Hello forum,
I have a Canon S110. It's a good camera -- I just passed the 5000 picture mark. A couple of months ago I started having problems closing the zoom lense when powering the camera down. Right now the apparatus retracts all the way but the plastic window fails to close to cover the lense. Instead, I hear a clicking sound like the mechanism is jammed or something.
Out of inertia I've ignored the problem for the past few months, and the camera still appears to work properly, but I was wondering if anyone has any ideas about investigating the camera myself (compressed air to clean it?) or what a camera dealer could do if I took it to one.
Thanks.
Stephen
