I did a search, both on google and on this forum and found absolutely nothing on the Photogenic AA12 light (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/224793-REG/Photogenic_904300_AA12_Lamphead_without_Reflector. html)
I just picked up a softbox and this is my first studio lighting attempt and I have a potential good deal for these lights but wanted to first check to see if anyone has any experience with these.
I also have a few questions - it says for use with battery supply but can I also plug it in? Will it have any problems mounting on my manfrotto light stand 8/5 or working with my photoflex q39 med softbox? do i need to purchase a reflector for it or will putting it in a softbox or with an umbrella be adequate?
sorry for the newbie questions but I am somewhat of a newbie lighting guy. I will mainly be shooting portraits and I currently only own a 580EX, the softbox, an umbrella and a light stand.
