It's been a while since I posted any photos, so I thought I would share. I had to cover a YMCA state championship swim meet for two days this past weekend. Here are a couple of my favorites from the shoot. Shot with ambient light at ISO 3200. Lots of fun.

Love them, the first ones a cracker and the hat on the second one is superb. Not a lot of noise for ISO 3200.

We just had districts here last weekend, state this weekend. Love the first one for sure. Second seems a bit dark. I'm quite jealous of you ability to shoot at ISO3200 and your 70-200 f2.8.
Here's wat I get with my XSi and a 85mm f1.8:

Nice perspective on shot 1, good and low, three lane ropes - sharp - good colour.
You captured the nice form on the flyer in shot 2. Nice to have a deck pass isn't it?

Yes, being in the media has its perks.
OZ, your shot is fine. It just needed very little work in Photoshop.

I really like the first one. What shutter speed and F stop did you use? Did you select one point from the AF ellipse? I have the Mark IIN and have my AF set at the center point but am thinking about using C.Fn17-2 for 13 points with the 70-200mm lens.

Center point. I rarely use "Ring of Fire" as I know where I want my focus point to be. Why chance it?
Shot in AV mode (f 2.8), ISO3200, 1/500 shutter. I played with some in manual as well. Link to gallery:
