How to take a bear for a ride.
I had posted this a while back, just today I met the artist who carved it and thought I should give him some credit and a link to his gallery. E.A.Crowell, you can see more of his work here

not trying to sell anything but I'm always amazed at what some very talented people can do with a chain saw.

Traveling around, you see all ranges of quality in those chainsaw carvings. Some are obviously whipped out in a few minutes and priced high for tourist suckers. This one appears to be much higher quality than most. Nice detail around the face.

Yep, you just have to make sure they're strapped down tight... :D
I've watched people doing these chainsaw sculptures before. It sure is an interesting and amazing sight to see.

Thanks Stan and Lonnie, I took that photo over a year ago and never knew how did it until today, I just happened to see his pick up park he was just getting in. So I ran over introduced myself told what I had done. he gave me his card and I just thought I give him the recognition he deserves.  Just a chance meeting.
